TRIO at Bellevue College promotes and supports student success for first-generation, low-income college students and students with disabilities.

TRIO provides services that keep students in college and focused on success. This impactful program helps students break cycles of poverty and overcome class, social, and academic barriers to succeed in higher education.

TRIO supports students by providing:

extensive academic support
personal assistance, and
financial guidance

Each student is paired with an advisor who customizes services to make success in higher education a reality. TRIO supports and guides students aspiring to improve their lives.

About Us

TRIO is a specialized program that provides extensive academic support, financial aid guidance, and personal assistance. First-generation college students, low-income college students, and students with disabilities are eligible for support. TRIO pairs each student participant with an advisor who customizes services to ensure their success at Bellevue College. TRIO is funded through a grant from the U.S. Department of Education.

Bellevue College Foundation brings together people and resources across the community to invest in Bellevue College students, faculty and staff to help them realize their goals and dreams. This year we have awarded 315 scholarships totaling almost $558,000 and will invest $1.1 million dollars into our students and programs. Programs like the 14 bachelor’s degrees, 11 associate degrees, and 64 certificate programs. In addition to scholarship and program funding, the Foundation also awards annual grants to faculty and staff for creative, program-enhancing projects that could not be funded otherwise.
