Kellie McKenna has been practicing public accounting since 2012. As a partner at Moss Adams, where she has worked for over 12 years, Kellie has risen through the ranks from an intern to a home-grown partner.

She has a specialized focus on auditing private companies in the financial services sector, including asset managers, specialty finance companies, registered investment advisors, and various pooled investment vehicles, including venture capital, private equity, private credit and real estate funds. Her expertise encompasses a wide range of accounting topics with a particular emphasis on valuation, sale accounting and business combinations. In her role, Kellie supervises financial statement audits, reviews and regulatory compliance examinations. 

Kellie is committed to advocating for children in need and empowering aspiring professionals to achieve their educational and career goals. She served as a board member for Family Law CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of King County for over six years, is the treasurer of the Frances W Nordstrom Guild for Seattle Children’s Hospital, and has acted as an International Ambassador for buildOn, helping to construct schools in remote, impoverished villages in Nicaragua and Malawi alongside 30 of her Moss Adams colleagues.

She is passionate about guiding and mentoring young professionals who are looking to advance their careers in public accounting. Kellie holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and, as a CPA, is a member of the Washington Board of Accountancy. 

A Seattle resident, Kellie enjoys spending time with her family exploring Seattle with their dog Olive, frequenting local sporting events (Huskies, Kraken, Mariners, Sounders) and traveling internationally.
