Overview
The Radiologic Technology (RT) program at Bellevue College involves two years of extremely challenging technical coursework, proving our skill within our clinical sites, building long-term relationships with our peers and clinical site RTs (Radiologic Technologists), and preparing for the ARRT exam, which allows us to officially enter this career.
Many students have switched career paths into this field, and a large portion of the cohort also balances all the schoolwork with employment and family responsibilities. With all that effort, graduation from this program should be a true celebration, a chance to share our successes with one another, as well as family, friends, and the faculty who helped us get here.
The Collimator Club
Enter The Collimator Club, a spirited group of first-year RT students taking the reins to organize a spectacular Pinning Ceremony for our graduating seniors. Our mission: to turn this celebration into an unforgettable extravaganza filled with mouth-watering food, vibrant decorations, toe-tapping music, and lively entertainment. But that's not all — we're also gearing up for a fall picnic to warmly welcome the next cohort into our RT family!
Make your mark!
Now, let's talk about our fundraiser. In the RT world, daily life involves using specialized markers to ensure precise imaging. Unfortunately, these markers have a knack for disappearing, so we're embarking on a mission to create custom markers for RT students and our clinical site heroes. Imagine an array of fun colors with personalized initials, making each marker uniquely tailored. The fundraiser will not only cover the cost of these creative markers but also secure venues and materials for both the Pinning Ceremony and the Welcome Picnic.
